After washing your hair with the Nouvie Shampoo and Mask, towel dry and stir the product a little before use. Put a small amount in the centre of your hand, suited to the length and volume of your hair, rub for a few seconds between your hands and apply evenly through the hair. Do not rinse. Then style as you like, letting it dry naturally or using a dryer, straightener or curler.
Does it need rinsing out?
No. It is a leave-in treatment: apply it to damp or dry hair and leave it. That is exactly what the lotion is for — staying in the hair fibre and forming the layer that protects from heat and UV rays through the day.
Does it protect against heat from straighteners and dryers?
Yes, it is a heat protectant. Its formula protects the hair fibre from the heat of dryers and straighteners, and from UV radiation too. That is why we recommend applying it before using any heat tool, and daily on dry hair to style and protect from the sun.
Is it good for the beach or the pool?
Yes, it is ideal before and after swimming in the sea or a pool. It acts as a shield against sea salt and chlorine, two of the most common causes of dryness and colour loss in hair.
What does argan oil give the hair?
